Architect Project-Description
For this project, I had to create a building on google sketchup.
The building type that I chose is a medical facility. So i designed a
hospital. In this design, I created five levels, or five floors.
I put very big and long windows on every floor. I also made a glass
door. I made this hospital a very "green" design. There is grass on
every roof of every level or floor. I also put bushes and shrubs on
the roof of every level. The last thing I did, is put a big red medical
cross on the very top and center of this building.

Emlio Ambasz
Emilio Ambasz was born in Chaco, Argentina on June 13, 1943. Ambasz went to college at Princeton. After two years of studying there, his intelligence and passion for architecture led him to be awarded to both a Bachelors and Masters degree. Shortly after graduating as a student of Princeton, he became a professor in Princeton. At age 25,Arthur Drexler, the director of the Department of Architecture and Design at MoMA, recruited him to become a curator.
Around late 1980's Ambasz turned heads with his building designs that gave a harmonious integration of building and nature. Today, Emilio divides his time and work in two different places. For about three months of the year, he works in New York. He also works most of the year in various places in Italy.
This house is La Casa de Retiro Espiritual. It is a private residence that Emilio Ambasz designed.
This building is called ACROS Fukuoka Prefectural International Hall. It is located in Fukuoka Japan. Emilio designed this to be a green commercial building.

Cabin Retreat
This cabin was designed for three people. Although, I was only allowed to put 2 bedrooms I put 2 beds in one room. Both rooms connect into a jack and jill 3/4 bathroom. In this cabin, i put a living room, kitchen and dining room. The living room has a giant couch and t.v. I put all necessary tools inside the kitchen: cabinets, refrigerator, range wall cabinets, sink etc. The colors of most of the interior part of the house is brown and green because it represents nature. I also put a swing set outside.
